From GREAT aunt Caryl

My Aunt Caryl and her family write, In honor of Everhett, we chose to give a gift to the YCC (Your Community Connection) in Ogden. The YCC helps families in the community who need assistance escaping from domestic violence and other hardships. Often moms & kids show up with nothing but what they left the house with, and need the basic necessities for a few days until they can get things in order. We choose 3 outfits for little boys. We think Everhett would have liked the planes & trucks on the shirts and the comfy sweats! Thank you for giving us a fabulous reason to help someone else!

We love you tons!

Thanks Eriksson's we love you too!

From Daddy

Wade heard the story about the theft of the urn containing the ashes of a girl that was stillborn a few weeks ago. It was stolen along with a digital camera containing pictures of their little girl. The parents are devastated and hope to be able to recover the stolen items. They have offered a reward for the return of the items. Wade's gift in memory of Everhett is to contribute to the reward fund.

We really hope that the parents can get these priceless treasures back.

On the fifth day of Christmas

Michelle Draper writes " I don't know what toys kids love so I tried to think of what my nephew(s) liked at that age. That and when I saw this I could picture Wade and Everhett playing with it together. Thinking of you all. Love ya!"

Thanks for thinking of us and Everhett.

Secret Santa

One donor writes "Here is a picture of my service gift for Everhett. My son loved this gift and really wanted it. He has loved dinasours and Scooby Doo since he was three. I would think that Everhett would like them too. They are so BOY. I decided to give my gift to a little three year old boy who also has an angel in heaven. He lost his daddy this year in a horrible car wreck and it is his first Christmas with out him. I hope that this gift will bring him some joy. I would like to remain anonymous if possible because I don't want his mother to know who gave it to him.
Thank you for letting me participate in such a wonderful act of service."

Thank you! What a wonderful choice. Love to the little boy and his daddy in heaven.

The third gift

My sister in law Amanda writes "This is what I picked out. I know Everhett would have liked it, because his cousin, my son, picked out this exact thing on his 3rd birthday with his birthday money from his Grandparents. He has played and played with it. So, he helped me go buy one to give away to another little boy in honor of Everhett. We donated it to the Community Santa Christmas effort. (We picked a tag that said to buy a gift for a little boy.) Then I took both of my younger boys with me to deliver it, and they thought that was pretty cool. Thanks for initiating something that helps all of us to remember others. We love you, we love Wade, we love your kids, and we love and miss Everhett."

Thanks Amanda, and your sweet boys.

The First Gift

My friend Marie Caldwell writes, "Our city hall has an "Adopt An Elf" tree every year. On it are elves with a child's needs on the back. I picked a three year old little boy. One thing on his list was an Elmo movie. Love to your sweet angel boy and to you. What a wonderful mother you are."

Thanks Marie! Love to her and her little angel Olivia who would also be 3 this year!
